Building a New New Orleans, featuring a panel of three distinguished New Orleanians who are experts in economic redevelopment (Bob Brown), music (Charles Chamberlain), and cultural anthropology (Helen Regis). Our panelists discuss the ways in which New Orleans has redefined itself and thrived in the eight years since Hurricanes Katrina and Rita struck, and address such questions as: How has the cultural identity of New Orleans changed? Is the city still uniquely New Orleans or has it become more homogeneously American? Where are we now in the process of growth and renewal?
