The presenter describes the process and results of the Overhaul Project, which will gain physical and intellectual control over all accessioned archival holdings in the traditionally understaffed Seton Hall Archives. The project addresses scattered accession records, partially processed collections with mixed unprocessed and processed portions, incomplete location information, and the lack of discoverability. For lone arrangers particularly, this poster presentation demonstrates efforts to wrangle unruly archives when there is more than just a backlog problem.
