The ArchivesSpace project, a partnership among the New York University Libraries, University of California, San Diego, Libraries, and University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, Libraries, has developed a next-generation archives management application that builds on the strengths of both Archivists' Toolkit™ and Archon™. This session provides an overview of the application, the project's software development and testing, and the governance and sustainability plans for the product. Presenters include members of the ArchivesSpace project, the software development team, and the new organizational home for the project.
