SESSION 702 - Opportunities for Archives and Archivists in the Changing Landscape of K-12 Public Education

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Changing standards in K-12 public education can leave archivists wondering how they can support teachers. Session participants learn about the Common Core State Standards and ways in which archivists can support teachers in meeting state requirements. K-12 instructors who teach using Common Core State Standards in History/Social Studies and English/Language Arts discuss how they use archival materials in their classrooms and how archivists can provide support in meeting their curricular needs.
