At the LSU Law Center, little attention had been paid to arranging or describing the library's archival collections, which contain a wealth of information on Louisiana's unique legal system and history. After receiving a research request from an overseas scholar, LSU's Foreign, Comparative, and International Law Librarian began to arrange and describe the collection. The presenter discusses the importance of this collection not only to local scholars, but to comparative legal scholarship around the world.
