University Archivist and Associate Professor Lois Hamill has managed the Special Collections and Archives division of Steely Library at Northern Kentucky University since 2007. Ms. Hamill holds an M.A. in History/Archival Methods from the University of Massachusetts – Boston and an M.S. in Library and Information Science from Simmons College (Boston, MA). Her book Archives for the Lay Person: a Guide to Managing Cultural Collections was published in 2013 by AltaMira Press, as part of the American Association for State and Local History’s book series.
