Cyndi Shein is the Assistant Archivist for the J. Paul Getty Trust. She cares for the institutional records and archives of the Trust and the Getty's programs: the Museum, Research Institute, Conservation Institute, and Foundation. She is responsible for analog and electronic materials in a variety of formats and genres, including traditional institutional records, oral histories, architectural records, and the personal papers and diaries of Mr. Getty. She previously held positions at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) Libraries; the National Baseball Hall of Fame Museum Library and Archives; and the University of California, Irvine (UCI) Libraries Special Collections and Archives. She earned her MLIS (concentration in archival management and technical services) from San José State University.
