Courtney Chartier has a Masters of Information Studies from the University of Texas at Austin School of Information; a Masters of Southern Studies from the University of Mississippi Center for the Study of Southern Culture; and a Bachelors of American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. Ms. Chartier is currently the Assistant Head of the Archives Research Center at the Atlanta University Center Robert W. Woodruff Library. She was previously the Project Archivist for the Voter Education Project Organizational Records and the Morehouse College Martin Luther King, Jr. Collection. She is the current Vice-President/President Elect of the Society of Georgia Archivists and Regent for Outreach of the Academy of Certified Archivists.
