Joan Ilacqua

UMass Boston
Graduate Student/JFK Library Intern
Boston, MA
I went to the University of Puget Sound for undergrad where I studied sculpture and American history. In the last three years, I've worked and interned in a variety of museums and historic institutions all across America, including Yosemite National Park, New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Plimoth Plantation, and Gateway National Recreation Area. I'm finishing up a processing internship at the JFK Presidential Library and a digitization project at UMass Boston where I am a Public History graduate student. I am passionate about working with history, being an awful museum patron and long walks on the beach.
