Katy is the Coordinator of Technical Services in the Special Collections Research Center, Temple University Libraries. She has worked previously at the Barnes Foundation, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the American College of Physicians, and the Beinecke Library at Yale University. She received her BA from Smith College and MLS from Simmons College. She is a former Chair of the SAA Museum Archives Section, recent past Treasurer for the Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference, and a former member of the SAA-ACRL/RBMS Joint Task Force on the Development of Standardized Holdings Counts and Measures for Archival Repositories and Special Collections Libraries. She is active in the organization Archives for Black Lives in Philadelphia (A4BLiP) and is the incoming Member-At-Large for the Description Section Steering Committee.
