Nicholas G. Meriwether earned his BA in history from Princeton and his MLIS at the University of South Carolina. He served as Oral Historian at the South Caroliniana Library at the University of South Carolina and was the founding Grateful Dead Archivist at UC Santa Cruz. He is the Series Editor for the University of California Press series Studies in the Grateful Dead and serves as an archival consultant and scholar for private and institutional clients.
